In 2007, Led Zeppelin announced they would re-unite for a one-off show at London’s O2 Arena,  in tribute to the late Ahmet Ertegün. Over 20 million people around the world applied for 18,000 available tickets putting Led Zeppelin in the Guinness Book Of Records for the “Highest Demand for Tickets for One Music Concert”.

On December 10 2007, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones performed  with with Jason Bonham taking his late father’s place on drums. Despite the huge demand for more live shows, that was to be the last time the group got together (so far).

Over the last few days, the Led Zeppelin Facebook page has been counting down to a big announcement which turns out to be “Celebration Day”, a concert DVD. The Film will be premiered in select theatres around the world on October 17. The over 2 hour concert DVD will arrive in multiple formats on November 19 with more details to come.
