One Minute Moore (Thu. Apr. 17): Ottawa cops save the life of a suicidal girl this week. Jumped into the freezing Rideau River to rescue her. Didn’t receive much attention. Should have. I’ll give it the attention I think it deserves on the rant. ~ Randall
This long weekend, we’re going deep into the biggest and best!
Via their facebook page, “After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health. Malcolm would like to thank the group’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support.
In light of this news, AC/DC asks that Malcolm and his family’s privacy be respected during this time. The band will continue to make music.”

From the Daily Telegraph this morning: Following rumours of Malcolm Young’s serious illness and the possible breakup of AC/DC as a result, singer Brian Johnson talked to the UK paper. He said ”we are definitely getting together in May in Vancouver. We’re going to pick up guitars, have a plonk and see if anybody has got any tunes or ideas. If anything happens we’ll record it.”
Various online reports say the reason ACDC will announce they are retiring is because Malcolm Young has suffered a stroke and has been left with a blood clot in his brain. Again these are online reports and rumors, nothing has been confirmed by the band.
One Minute Moore (Tue. Apr. 15): Three Canadian residents who are not yet citizens are suing to remove the oath to the Queen as a condition of becoming citizens. They say it’s an infringement on their freedom of thought and speech. Thoughts? ~ Randall
We must stress – none of this has been officially confirmed by AC/DC, any of the band members, or any of the management. But it does look like they will never record or perform again, due it seems to Malcolm Young who may have a very serious illness.
