Almost every hour, someone in our community is diagnosed with cancer.

The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation is the only organization in Eastern Ontario that is exclusively dedicated to funding cancer care, giving local families both hope and help as they face cancer.

The Cancer Foundation is here for you and your loved ones. Community support for the Foundation will fund research, clinical trials, and improved treatment approaches for some of the most difficult-to-treat cancers and will help families cope by connecting them with a Cancer Coach. A personal Cancer Coach (a healthcare professional with a background in oncology) works with patients and their families to identify what is most important to them in their care. A Coach is there every step of the way to provide support, education, and practical guidance to help their clients meet their health and wellness goals, and improve their quality of life.

Did you know? Ottawa is a leading Canadian city for breakthroughs in cancer research and care. Researchers, clinicians, oncologists, and Cancer Coaches are working hard every day, even through the COVID-19 pandemic, to make sure cancer patients and their families can have access to the best possible care.

Donate to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation: With your donation, you can make sure no one in Ottawa faces cancer alone. You can give hope for the future by making a donation to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. Learn more about donating here!

The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation has a podcast!

Introducing, Community Against Cancer: The Podcast. Due to the many restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, they’ve come up with a new way to help donors learn how they’re making a difference in the lives of local families who are facing #cancer.

On Saturday, CHEZ 106 we will be celebrating the life and music of Gord Downie by becoming GORD FM.
