In October 2020, Rebecca Fitzgerald (founder of ToastyToes Ottawa) started an annual campaign that collects socks for people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. In 2020, more than 1,250 pairs of new socks and more than $1,100 was raised to purchase new socks that were distributed into the local community.

With temperatures dropping, Rebecca is our Local Legend for November with a goal of raising 10,000 pairs of socks AND 10,000 dollars to go towards the purchase of more socks to keep toes of ALL sizes toasty this season.
