Renowned figures from the realms of rock and country music will converge for a heartfelt tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett at the upcoming Keep the Party Going concert, set to grace the stage of the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on April 11. This star-studded event boasts an impressive lineup including icons such as Paul McCartney, the Eagles, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Brown, Jackson Browne, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, and Sheryl Crow.

Joining them in honouring Buffett are his Coral Reefer Band, along with Scotty Emerick, Jack Johnson, Caroline Jones, Mac McAnally, Jake Owen, Pitbull, and Jake Shimabukuro, with more guest appearances to be unveiled in due course. Tickets for this Live Nation/Hewitt Silva-produced spectacle will go on sale this Friday, March 15.

Jimmy Buffett, celebrated for his signature tune “Margaritaville” and his relaxed, island-infused musical style, unexpectedly became one of the most successful musicians of the rock’n’roll era. Tragically, Buffett passed away from cancer at the age of 76 on September 1, 2023. Paul McCartney, among others, contributed to Buffett’s posthumous album “Equal Strain on All Parts,” released in November of the same year.

Keep the Party Going serves as a heartfelt homage to Buffett, a gift to his dedicated fans affectionately known as Parrotheads. Buffett’s widow, Jane, reflected on the remarkable community of fans that surrounded her late husband, describing them as “the world’s most joyful community.” She acknowledged their role in inspiring and comforting her family, expressing gratitude for their unwavering support.

Simultaneously, the Coral Reefer Band will deliver a special Buffett tribute performance on May 5 as part of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, a fitting homage to Buffett’s enduring legacy at a venue where he graced the stage countless times throughout his illustrious career.
